Visas to Russia.
To make visas please contact Olga I. Yakovenko.
The INFO we need:
- Last name:
- First names:
- Date of birth:
- Sex:
- Nationality:
- Passport No:
- Date of issue:
- Date of expiration (your passports must be valid 3 months after the end of the sojourn in Russia):
- Name of Institution or Firm:
- Position:
- Office address:
- Phone, Fax:
- Date of arrival in Russia:
- Date of leaving Russia:
- Single or multiple visa:
- Sites you would like to visit except Moscow (up to 6 sites):
- Location of the consulate where you will obtain the visa*:
*) You are not obliged to come in the central Russian Consulate in your country for obtaining your visa.
If you give me the address (city) where the most convenient to you Consulate is located, the Visa’s Support will be send there.
It can be not only the Consulate in your country but in the country you are in visit and from what you suppose to attend Russia.
- The main document to obtain visa is not the Letter of Invitation (which will be made according to your request), but the Visas’s
Support which will be made by a special Academic Department. They submit the documents to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs which
itself forwards the permission to deliver you the visa in the Consulate you will mention in your request. When you come to the
Consulate with your Letter of Invitation, they must submit you the visa without problems.
- Time rules.
- The application has to be submitted to the named Department not earlier than 45 days and not later than 3 weeks before you
would like to arrive (the procedure in Russia takes about 2 weeks and 1 week - to prepare the visa in your country’s Consulate).
So if you come only to the Workshop (September, 10-15) the time for visa application lies between July, 26 and August, 19.
- If you want to have the larger visa dates, this will move the date of the application to the earlier date. If you need in this, please
inform me specially and give me the real dates when you would like to come and how and where (and in what cities) do you want to
be logged, or you will take care of this yourselves.
We hope all possible questions are mentioned above. If no, you are welcome to address to
Olga I. Yakovenko at any time you need.
All information.
